Last night I finished our RESERVED table signs. We needed something that wouldn’t blow away, so I decided to purchase 8 by 10 inch picture frames ($5, on sale at Wal-Mart) and designing my own in Photoshop. There are plenty of fun and free brushes to download and, actually, deciding which ones to use took longer than the actual designing and printing. We are doing five reserved tables, one for the Mother of the Bride and her guests, one for the Father of the Bride and his guests, One for the parents and siblings of the Groom, and two for the wedding party and their guests.
Oh, and I bought a tanning package today. I really shouldn’t spend the money, but I didn’t have a choice. I have tanktop-strap tan lines and I don’t think I’ll have time (or a place) to just sit out and bake in the sun during the next three weeks. We’re at a tight deadline this week since Friday is a holiday and my editor will be out Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for classes leaving me by myself.
Now all I have left to do is pay my make up person, locate a hairstylist, have a hair trial, finish choreographing our first dance, drop about 10 more pounds, go for a dress fitting, get my cousin’s bridesmaid’s dress to actually come in, finish the water bottles, invent an innovative cooling system to keep them cold without letting the ice or water touch the design, design and make the paddle fan programs, pay the videographer, pay the photographer, finalize things with the DJ, and finalize things with the catering people (oh and by the way, his madre said NO PROBLEM with the chicken, I think S was just worried). Not a lot for LESS THAN three weeks (wipes the sweat off her forehead).
