...And then some more drama.
I finally got a hold of Alfred Angelo today (which took forever and three days since they are not fond of returning phone calls, apparently) and found out that Fashion Corner LIED to me. No, you have to understand those words here. They did not misinform me, they did not mislead me, they did not unknowingly tell me the wrong information. They KNOWINGLY told me information that they KNEW to be INCORRECT.
Got it?
Now, how did they do this, you might be wondering. Well, they told me Alfred Angelo screwed up and sent the wrong dress. They said this in font of my mom, they said it in front of my sister, they said it in front of me, they said it in front of a bridesmaid. Two of us were told this on the phone numerous occassions.
Today, I found out that Alfred Angelo did not screw up the dress. The customer service associate from AA said never did Fashion Corner order the dress of that style until June. You know what the means right? The right color of dress and right size of dress but wrong style of dress showed up. What does this sound like to you? Oh, I don't know that maybe FASHION CORNER ORDERED THE WRONG DRESS AND THEN LIED TO ME ABOUT IT.
I made the decision that I am not going to tell them I know about their deception. If the dress comes in by Tuesday, we won't have any problems. At least the dress will be here. If not, then I'm talking litigation and talking with an attorney. Although it may be simply small claims court, it will be worth it to get justice on this disaster. Who does business like this?
If the dress isn't here, we'll be seeking a refund and going to David's Bridal to pick up an alternative dress, which I tried on earlier today. The color doesn't match perfectly, but it's close enough.
Here are the dresses
